Book Review: Pas De Deux by Erin Bomboy

Ballet is the art of grace. A gruelling and noble pursuit for humans, otherwise graceless beings compared to cats. Books, like ballet productions, are also filled with grace: hard work and choreography, of a sort, are required by both arts. Author Erin Bomboy writes books about ballet, and it’s like watching a production play out before your very eyes. Her writing is purrfection.

I give her novel Pas de Deux it four cat heads of approval because, alas, not enough felines.

I also interviewed her author pet Gavin, graceful ruler of New York territory, recently.

I give it three cat heads of approval You probably guessed it, no cats. It was a long journey fantasy epic with a coming of age story. Magic, mystery, beautiful scenery and interesting humans. But no cats and so three stars. Also, only dead dragons. I hope book 2 has more Dragons. Alive dragons. They are almost as good as cats.

There is a love almost as strong as my love for books. It is my love for my bacon catnip toy. Being an author cat has its payoffs. Though, it is tough work being an author pet. Writers can be absent minded lost in their writing worlds

Make sure your author practices self-care and that you remind them to take breaks. Sometimes, you might have to walk across the keyboard.

I give this 4 cat heads of sinister approval. Sometimes you just have to be bad to get what you want. Like that time I knocked all the stuff off the dresser to wake my humans up to feed me. Or that other time I convinced my cat brothers to get the treats. They got in trouble. I got the treats. This story is a Cinderella story with all the wickedness. I like the mice. They sound tasty. Though, once again, not enough cats.

New Addition to the Family

Mom and Dad just told me I am getting a new little brother… after they took me to the vet to get my vaccine… Thanks … how am I going to find time to read and review books if I have to teach him what stuff is mine and how to groom himself and how not to behave? And why couldn’t it be a sister? I already have brothers… cats kitten catsofinstagram how did you handle a new sibling?
