This racy vampire romance meets medical drama has flavors of the Underworld franchise. I study human interaction, especially around romance, to help my author with her writing. Courtship is fascinating and as diverse as cat courtships, especially when vampires are thrown in the mix.
This one left me a bit more confused on the relationship part. I’ll do more research.
There was a tiny wisp of Matthew Clairmont (A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness), my favorite vampire, but just a weensy bit.
I give it three cat heads of approval – not enough cats and needed a bit more story and less kid-napping stuff. If you love vampire romance stories, you’ll like this one.
